Werner Lang

Werner Lang is Professor and Director of the Center for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Design and Building at the Technische Universität München (TUM). He is also Director of the ‘Oskar von Miller Forum’ in Munich, an independent educational initiative of the Bavarian construction industry that supports the university education of civil engineers and architects at TUM. Furthermore, he is Co-director of Lang Hugger Rampp GmbH Architects, Munich. From 2008 to 2010, Werner was Associate Professor of Architecture in Sustainable Design at The University of Texas at Austin, and from 2009 – 2010, he was Director of the Center for Sustainable Development. Werner received his PhD from TUM in 2000 and his Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1990.
